Gunsley in Transit - Van Life | Mt. Laguna + Kwaaymii Point Engagement
Gunnar + Lindsey are getting married and they are living life on the edge...
...of Kwaaymii Point.
Aren't in-home photo sessions the best? You're comfy in your own space with the one you love. What if you could take your in-home session with you...wherever you want to go.
Gunnar and Lindsey invited me with open arms to their home in Mt. Laguna (and everywhere in the world.) This isn't making sense yet, is it?
These two soon-to-be newlyweds + explorers had a dream to turn a van into a homey spot where they can rest their heads and travel the world. So, that's what they did. Why not, right?
I witnessed first-hand this amazing home-reno project on wheels at the engagement session and let me tell you, they did such an incredible job.
This adventure session was one for the books. We met along the way from San Diego to Mt. Laguna and caravanned around the mountain stopping along the way until we reached our final spot - Kwaaymii Pt.
We ended the day overlooking the Anza Borrego Desert and a fire of a sunset that stretched across the sky. You all, I'm not kidding - we shot until dark because this session was so fun. When we were finished shooting Gunnar and Lindsey served some snacks and I busted out some Boochcraft while we hung out in their cozy little home on top of a mountain.

Their plan is to live out of their van to explore the country. The wedding in August will be the official send-off. After celebrating, partying, and dancing their butts off with friends and family at the wedding, they are going to hit the road and head north to Alaska.
