Jess + Lundy Off the Grid Farm Engagement || Lee Vining, CA

March 22, 2018 by Christine Tustin in wedding, 2018 Weddings, Mammoth, Adventure

Tucked away just east of the Sierra Nevada Mountains is this adorable little off-the-grid farm fully equipped with goats, chickens, horses, dogs, a couple of calves, a cat named Tango, and two lovebirds named Jess and Lundy (corny I know, but HAD TO). I have never fallen so in love with a  farm in my whole life and I've never become BFF's with a goat named Brownie (or any goat for that matter). Besides the overwhelmingly sweet welcome I got from the whole barnyard, I had the best time hanging out with Jess and Lundy.

I was so fortunate to get connected with these two through Green Fox Events while I was on a recent trip to Mammoth Mountain with family and friends.  As Jess and I were panning out the details of this session, she extended a warm welcome for everyone I was traveling with to join us on the farm. While the remaining 3 adults and 2 infants played with animals and explored the farm, I got to steal Jess and Lundy for what may have been the most fun engagement session this year.

Jess and Lundy are two of the sweetest, fun, and genuine people. Throughout their session I got to watch them be silly and playful together on their farm while critters sporadically popped in and out. Brownie and Sophie, the goats, supervised the shoot and honestly I'm not sure who here had more fun - me or them. There truly is nothing that fills my heart more than to spend time with two people who are so endearingly right for each other. Lundy kept all of us smiling and laughing the whole time, but best of all was seeing firsthand his love for Jess and vice versa. The whole experience was truly incredible. It was a feel good, butterflies flying, Sunday kind of love that unfolded before my camera.

Jess and Lundy, you two are a dream. Are you even real? Did this all happen!? I couldn't be more excited for you both and so grateful for your hospitality towards my family and I while we visited your farm. Thank you for sharing so much with us and letting me follow you around your farm with (almost) all animals in tow. I can't wait to make the journey back up in July and witness a marriage that will be truly magical.
