North Park, San Diego, CA | Christina + Neal Neighborhood Hangouts Engagement Session

You want to know how to have fun at your engagement session? Well, do the things you like.

Neal and Christina made the trek down to San Diego to hangout in a neighborhood they really like and visit the spots that they would normally love having dates and hanging out. It was actually kind of hard to decide where we were going to go, because North Park has SO many great options for hanging out, getting drinks, and exploring. We decided to make our first stop at Modern Times Flavordome to grab some beers (another pro-tip for engagement sessions - let's get loose with a drink!) I am no stranger to Modern Times Beer and clearly my couples aren't either. I guess you could say we just all have great taste.

Our next stop was one of my all time dangerously favorite spots - Pigment. Their infamous ombre pink wall and succulent wall are always a hit and of course we HAD to stop in to see what they had in store...not gonna not!

We hit up a few of my favorite murals close by at Shop Good Co and another one outside of Artelexia and then our last stop was a little bit of fun in a bookstore. This was another awesome idea by Neal and Christina because of their love of books. They found Verbatim Books and let me just say - it is the coolest bookstore I've ever been in.

You know how they say don't judge a book by it's cover? Well, you can judge Verbatim by it's cover. You're greeted with this yummy deep purple and bright turquoise exterior with these cool old windows... and you won't be disappointed when you open the door to go inside.

I'm so excited for N + C and their modern and fun wedding coming this fall at The New Children's Museum.
