Two pilots. one destination. They have been dating for years and met up for a little weekend getaway in San Diego. Little did Michaela know that Michael was hard at work planning out this sweet Sunset Cliffs proposal. This sounds like the plot of a movie I would definitely opt for on a Friday night in. 

Man, I LOVE being a part of the proposal. I love every bit of the process from dating to married, but the more involved throughout that I can be, I just love it even more. I really got to dive into the fun with this proposal too. Michael called me looking for a photographer to shoot his proposal to his girlfriend and knew he wanted to do it on the cliffs at sunset, but he had never been to Sunset Cliffs before and being from out of town he wouldn't have the opportunity to scope out all the details of when and where. I got over to the cliffs to help Michael plan out the location and timing and sent him some pretty detailed emails with maps and everything. Oh man, it was fun.

There's always a lot of excitement on a wedding day and engagement sessions can be a lot of fun too, but there really is nothing like just-said-yes excitement. Michael and Michaela were beaming. I'm talking about that couldn't stop smiling and laughing kind of mood. I couldn't help myself but smile and laugh with them. I love it when a plan comes together. 

Michael, thank you for choosing me to document and help plan this incredible moment. Just from our short amount of time together I could tell you are the sweetest couple. I'm honored to have been able to witness the start of a new season and such great things to come!
